Abstract

PURPOSE:To form the phosphate coating having a superior adhesive property, appearance and corrosion resistance, by treating zinc alloy electroplating steel sheet having a zinc alloy plating layer which contains heavy metals or these oxides with phosphate solution containing hydrogen peroxide. CONSTITUTION:Content of phosphoric acid radical; 2-15g/l, content of hydrogen peroxide; 0.5-20g/l in phosphoric acid solution. Ash-colored uniform appearance phosphate coating having L value of color-difference meter of about 50, is formed on the surface by spraying (treating time; about four seconds) the phosphoric acid solution at about 62 deg.C. Sticking quantity of the phosphate coating is about 1.5g/m<2>.
