Abstract

PURPOSE: To enhance the linearity of the control appratus, by flowing a large amount of driving current to the solenoid when the electromagnetic valve is on and thus securing a quick on-state for the electromagnetic valve.
CONSTITUTION: The on- and off controls are given alternately to the electromagnetic valve to give a control to the mean flow rate of the liquid. In this case, a large amount of driving current is flowed to the solenoid of the electromagnetic valve during a comparatively short time τON from the start point of the on-time tON of the electromagnetic valve. Thus the spool of the electromagnetic valve is turned on quickly. After this, a comparatively small amount of holding current is supplied to maintain the shift of the spool. Thus the time τON required for the on of the electromagnetic valve is reduced to reduce also the error of linearity.
