Abstract

PURPOSE: To secure a conversion into Boolean algebra equation just through the input of both the contact information and the branch information of the ladder circuit, by storing successively the branch symbols of the ladder circuit and then giving the degeneration process.
CONSTITUTION: The ladder circuit is decomposed into the contact symbol and the branch symbol and then supplied to the branch symbol selecting circuit 2 as well as to the 2nd memory 6 via the input terminal 1. And the branch symbol selected through the circuit 2 is stored in the 1st memory 6. Then the branch degenerating circuit 4 carries out a degeneration process based on the combination of the branch symbols read out of the memory 3 as well as the combination of the contact symbols given from the memory 6. With repetition of this process, no branch symbol exists any more within the memory 3. And thus the ladder circuit can be converted into the Boolean algebra equation. In such way, a simple conversion is possible into the Boolean algebra equation just by supplying both the contact information and the branch information of the ladder circuit.
