Abstract
PURPOSE: To improve power generating efficiency by enlarging swing of a body of a ship when generating powe by making use of ocean waves.
CONSTITUTION: A bottom of a ship 1 of this device is formed round shape 15, and ballast tanks 15aW15c are constituted so that the capacity becomes small at the center and large at both ends between the bow X side of both gunnels and the stern Y side. Then, to give constant free motion to each ballast tank, the appropriate amount of seawater 16 is poured so that the ballast tanks are freely moved in a certain direction in accordance with tilting conditions to the bow or the stern, so that more tilting capacity can be given in proportion to a trim shifting moment. Furthermore, large cylindrical buoyant bodies are mounted on both sides at the center part of the ship body below the waterline to detract vertical and horizontal stability of the ship, so that the ship swings more violently to improve power generating efficiency.
