Abstract

PURPOSE: To reduce the quantity of generated NOx by a method wherein the circulation of exhaust gas and the nonequilibrium combustion are made simultaneously and spontaneously and thus the combustion is made constantly at the uniform temperature.
CONSTITUTION: Fuel supply means 21 and 22 are provided in the central axis part and further a small burner tile structure 23 is provided in front thereof, while a mechanism 24 for dividing the air for combustion being also provided. The primary air divided by the mechanism 24 and adjusted in quantity is supplied to the small burner tile structure 23, while the secondary air accounting for the greater part of quantity of the divided air jetted out from several air jet-out orifices 26, 26"... made through a baffle 25 provided around the structure 23 into the opening 28 of a furnace wall surrounded by the furnace wall.
