PURPOSE:To obtain the captioned color developing sheet which gives a developed color image excellent in waterresistance, light-fastness and resistance to plasticizers, with whose extremely small deterioration on standing, by making it contain specified metallic salt of bisphenol sulfone compound as a color developer. CONSTITUTION:The aimed color developing sheet is obtained by making it contain as the color developer one kind or more of 2, 2'-metallic salt of bisphenol sulfone compound [e.g. 2, 2'-bis (p-t-octyl phenol) sulfone magnesium, etc.] expressed by the formula (where R is H, hologen, 1-12C alkyl, chcloalkyl, phengle 7-11C aralkyl; M is polyvalent metal of Mg, Ca, Ti, Mn, Fe, Co, Cu, or Sn). Moreover, it is preferable that the sheet contains, in addition to the compound expressed by the formula, one kind or more of the oxide (or hydroxide) or carbonate of polyvalent metal selected from Zn, Mg, Cd, Al, etc. (preferably zinc oxide), since thereby the light-resisting yellowing property, the speed of color development, the fade resistance by light of an image, etc. are inproved.
