Abstract

PURPOSE: To avoid not only the deviation of the picture region to be read out but the useless repetition of the reading, by providing a display unit to give a successive display to the picture information and then carrying out the scanning with confirmation of the range of reading.

CONSTITUTION: The reading element 11 reads the picture information AB of the original 8 every time the shift extent detection signal is supplied from the shift extent detection part 10. And these reading signals are amplified 12 after the binary coding. One of these signals is supplied to the recording device such as the plotter or the like; and the other is supplied to the memory element group 13 of N-bits × n-units to be stored. Then N×n units of driving circuit group 14 provided in correspondence to each element of the group 13 drive each corresponding light emitting element 15. And the element 15 at the position corresponding to the black information of the picture informationread out by the element 11 is actuated. In such way, the information stored in the row of memory elements is shifted to the next row of memory elements every time the element 11 reads out the picture information of the original. Accordingly, the sequence of light emission of the light emitting elements shifts successively to the next row. In other words, the picture information of the original read out by the reading device is displayed at the display part comprising the light emitting element group 15.
