Abstract

PURPOSE:To facilitate an easy recording with a correction given to the inclination of a beam array, by producing the record signal by driving a character generator with plural detection signals. CONSTITUTION:When the first one of plural scan beam is irradiated to a beam detector 7, the timing of rise is detected to produce detection signals 92-1-92-4. Then picture clock signals 93-5-93-8 and load signals 93-1-93-4 corresponding to the detection signal are produced, and the output signals of a character generator 82 are loaded to parallel-serial conversion shift registers 83-86. The count value is set with every renewal of code, and thus the characters or patterns in a line are delivered after an arragement given. The signals of the registers 83-86 drive a laser array 1, and the information is recorded on a photosensitive drum by the beam of the array 1.
