Abstract
PURPOSE: To detect the titled antibody simply and easily with high sensitivity by a method wherein a latex reagent formed by sensitizing latex particles with aspergillus antigen is contacted with human body fluid or its diluted solution and a sedimentation pattern is observed.
CONSTITUTION: Latex particles are sensitized with aspergillus antigen obtained from the cultured filtrate of aspergillus. Excessive antigens are removed by washing the particles with a water medium such as a physiological saline solution after the sensitizing treatment, and the remainder surface of the particles is further saturated with substance such as bovine serum albumin, and nonspecific agglutination is prevented. Since a latex reagent obtained is stable, it may be freeze-dried and preserved, to dissolve in a diluted solution when using. Since the reagent is agglutionated by aspergillus antibody, it is contacted with a body fluid such as human serum, or its diluted solution on a plate for microtiter, and a sedimentation pattern of the latex is observed, to decide the existence of aspergillus antibody.
