Abstract

PURPOSE:To conduct stable electrospark machining by a method wherein pulse conditions are controlled by expected stray capacities and according to change of the stray capacities. CONSTITUTION:Machining pulses are given to machining clearances by switch-on- and-off control and electric spark is applied in the machining clearances. If the electric spark is started, the clearance voltage becomes lower rapidly. A detecting circuit 9 detects the clearance voltage and adds signals from a gate 10 to a circuit 11. The circuit 11 synchronizes with them and outputs short check pulses. The check pulses are added to a detecting circuit 12, detects signals of the discharge current from a resistor 7 and adds them to a discriminating circuit 13. The discriminated output of the discriminating circuit 13 is added to a device 6 to control the voltage of a power source 3.
