Abstract

PURPOSE: To make size smaller and efficiency higher by feeding the voltages corresponding to the respective photo outputs of two or more light modulators using electro-optic effect back to the mutually other light modulators.
CONSTITUTION: The voltages V1, V2 corresponding to the respective light outputs of two or more light modulators S1, S2 using electro-optic effect are fed back to the other light modulators S1, S2 via the light-to-voltage converting systems D1, D2 containing the photodetectors corresponding to the light modulators S1, S2. In addition, the bias voltages VB1, VB2 to be applied to the light modulators S1, S2, the feedback ratios α2, β2, α1, β1 to the light modulators S2, S1 and time constants are adjusted so that bistable, monostable or astable operations are made.
