CONSTITUTION: A controller wherein wherein the fuel-air ratio of the engine is fed back is provided therein with an engine cooling water temperature sensor 100, a sensor-temperature detector 101, acceleration and deceleration sensor 102, 103, a power sensor 104 and an O2 sensor trouble decider 105. The operations of a feedback controller 106 by the O2 sensor and a releasing device 107 for releasing the feedback control by the O2 sensor are changed over according as the outputs of the instruments are below or above the setpoints.
