Abstract

PURPOSE: To control the power of reactor at the time of insertion-removal of the control rod, by additionally applying a bias signal to the control signal to control a recycling flow quantity, with a function generator provided in the recycling flow quantity controller.
CONSTITUTION: In a recycling flow quantity controller 8 is provided a function generator 24. A reactor power monitor device 23, on the basis of feed water flow quantity or output of average power range monitor, transmits a reactor power signal, changed by an operation of control rod, to the function generator 24, and said generator 24, for the reactor power when below a set value A% and above 20%, outputs a speed requirement signal, with a speed requirement bias to meet the reactor power added to a speed requirement signal from a M/A changer 21. The above signal is limited to below the set value by a speed requirement error limiter 25 to change the speed of a recycling pump 16, with the recycling flow quantity controlled. Accordingly, the recycling flow quantity can be controlled correspondingly to a change of the reactor power, thus capable of improving a stability of the core.
