Abstract

PURPOSE:To reduce a load of forced oil feeding for a valve moving mechanism by a method wherein lubricating oil separated from blow-by gas with a separator in a breezer passageway annexed to an internal surface of a cylinder head cover is dropped onto the valve moving mechanism by gravity. CONSTITUTION:The valve moving mechanism 13 for a suction valve 6 and an exhaust valve 8 provided at an upper surface of a cylinder heat 4 is located in a valve moving chamber 12 covered with a cover 11 and a separator 21 for the lubricating oil is provided in a part of the breezer passageway 19 to open an inside of the valve moving chamber 12 to outside. The blow-by gass, comming to the valve moving chamber 12 through an outer peripheral space of a push-rod 16, is expanded and contracted while the gas is flowing through the chamber and the passageway of a narrow sectional area in the separator 21 and the lubricating oil in the blow-by gas, which is useless essentially, is dropped onto the valve moving mechanism 13 by gravity from an upper surface of a thin plate 23 through penetrating holes 27 during this period. Accordingly, it is not necessary to prepare a separate forced lubricating mechanism for the valve moving mechanism 13.
