Abstract

PURPOSE: To stabilize the wheel braking posture by always balancing the decompression starting pressures of both pressure reducing valves in a wheel hydraulic pressure controlling circuit and equalizing the right and left braking forces in the different hydraulic systems.
CONSTITUTION: The captioned apparatus is constituted of a brake pedal 1, tandem type master cylinder M, right and left front wheel brakes Bf1 and Bf2, right and left rear wheel brakes Br1 and Br2. At one end of two parallel valve bodies 9 of both pressure reducing valves 51 and 52, a balancing lever 13 is bridged, and a spring 15 which pushes springily both valve bodies 9 through a lever 13 in the direction of valve opening and determines the decompression starting pressures of the valves 51 and 52 is set in a lever housing 12.
