Abstract

PURPOSE: To improve a control system by using cut-valve operating means which is composed of a first cut-valve, pressure reducing means, a second cut-valve, an operatin piston and passage means.
CONSTITUTION: A first cut-valve 16 is arranged between a master cylinder 11 and a rear wheel brake 13a, whereas a second cut-valve 18 is arranged in the hydraulic pressure circuit of a rear wheel brake 15a. A pressure reducing mechanism is composed of a first pressure reducing piston 19, a first pressure reducing chamber 20, a hydraulic pressure chamber 23, and a second pressure reducing piston or an operating piston 24. The operating piston 24 has its one end exposed to the master pressures of the first pressure reducing chamber 20 and its other end exposed to that of the first braking pressure circuit. The piston 24 has its upper end abutting against the second cut-valve 18 so as to open the same when it slides so that the first pressure reducing chamber 20 and a passage 21 may have communication with the rear wheel brake 15a. Thus, it is possible to improve the control system.
