PURPOSE:To eliminate the unsteadiness of coil terminal and the breaking wire of coil and to elevate the productivity of a coil device by a method wherein a spool is assembled into an automatic winding machine to automate the operation. CONSTITUTION:A terminal hole 6 is formed in the collar 1b of a spool 1, and a coil terminal 2 is pressed in previously to the half way of the hole 6 and is fixed temporarily. When a coil 3 is to be wound around the body part 1c of the spool 1, the coil end part 4 is wound around the coil terminal 2 at the position (n) by a wire guide G. When it is finished, the spool 1 is made to rotate and the coil wound part 4a is dipped in a solder tank W to perform dip soldering.
