Abstract
PURPOSE: To reduce the change of pressing force even if a sealing member is inclined, by arranging a groove in a pressing surface of the sealing member, whose pressing surface will be abutted on a matrix, and introducing a high pressure acting fluid to said groove.
CONSTITUTION: The groove 10 is arranged along a longitudinal center line of the pressing surface of the sealing member 7, whose pressing surface will be abutted on the matrix 1, in the groove 10 are formed a plurality of communication ports 11 for introducing a low temperature and high pressure air, and if necessary, a throttle 12 is arranged in each communication port 11. Thus though when the sealing member 7 is inclined with the gap between it and the matrix 1 diverged to a high pressure side 2 from a low pressure side 3, the pressure distribution over the width of the sealing will not be abruptly changed, when the gap is diverged to the low pressure side 3 from the high pressure side 2, and the pressure in the groove 10 is going to be low, a high pressure air is fed through the communication ports 11 to keep the pressure in the groove 10 high, so that when the sealing member 7 is slightly inclined, the pressure distribution over the width of the sealing will not be greatly changed, the increased driving force or wear will be prevented when the pressing force is increased, and the leakage will also be prevented when the pressing force is decreased.
