Abstract

PURPOSE: To permit a raliable exhaust of the air left in the two tendem-brake systems of a vehicle when one of the systems is broken, by providing a bypass that cancels the pressure-reducing control of the damping oil pressure in the other system.
CONSTITUTION: Oil pressure applied to the left end of a bypass valve piston 60 holds pistons 60 and 70, a sleeve 73 and a sealing ring 72 at the right-hand moving position. Therefore, the second inlet 31b and the second outlet 31d are communicated with each other through the third inner hole H3 and a connecting hole 31f, and the second inner hole H2 and the connecting hole 31f. Consequently, braking oil having flowed into the third inner hole H3 diverges to flow through the third inner hole H3 and the connecting hole 31f, and the second inner hole H2 and the connecting hole 31f, and flows out together with the internal air through the second outlet 31d to the outside of a controller 20. Thus, braking oil flows throughout the inside of the controller 20 in which air is apt to be left, so that the air in the controller 20 can be reliably exhausted to the outside.
