Abstract

PURPOSE: To minimize the cooling-down time by controlling air volume in such way to maximize the effective cooling capacity of an air-conditioner.
CONSTITUTION: Evaporation temperature TE1, air inlet temperature TO1, laboratory temperature TC1 and No. of revolutions N1 of blower 7 as things stand are detected and these individual signals are converted to digital signals. Then they are input to the operating memory 14. The said memory 14, based on each signal stored, seeks the cooling capacity QR1 or air-conditioner 5 as it is, processing the heat transfer capacity QK1 through the blast. Then, it compares cooling capacity QR1 and heat transfer capacity QK1, seeking signal QK1 having a smaller value. The calorific value QS through the blast is deducted from QK1 to seek an effective cooling capacity QC1. Next, the effective cooling capacity QC1 at the number of revolutions different from the present number of revolutions N1 only by a certain number of revolutions is sought in the same manner.
