Abstract

PURPOSE:To make it possible for the scanning point of a scanner to scan the same position on a rotary drum by comparing the rotary drum to a motor driving the scanner in terms of phase and then by exercising feedback control over one motor. CONSTITUTION:A pulse signal from the 1st pulse generator 15 interlocking with scanner driving motor 33 and that from the 2nd pulse generator 9 interlocking with original-picture-drum driving motor 5 are signal-converted so that the same pulse width and same repetitive frequency can be obtained. Then, a phase difference between both the pulse signals is detected to drive scanner driving motor 33.
