Abstract

PURPOSE: To reduce distortion dependent upon volume contraction accompanied with transformation of improve durability, by transforming previously the welding part of a plunger guide and the part near it to an austenite structure.
CONSTITUTION: Before plunger guide 3 is fitted to fixed iron core 2 or stopper 4, a fixed section at the end part of plunger guide 3, for example, only sections of length l and l' at end parts are transformed to an austenite structure previously throughout the circumference by annealing and so on. After that, plunger guide 3, fixed iron core 2, and stopper 4 are welded along ring grooves 2b and 4b by the known method.
