Abstract
PURPOSE:To prolong service life by providing a blow plate mounting part to one end and a nozzle forcing-in part via a nozzle rubber detaining part to the other end and fitting the nozzle rubber having the specific end structure thereto. CONSTITUTION:A metal hollow nozzle 1 has a blow plate mounting part 2 at one end, whose part is fitted to a blow plate 10 by a screw part 2'. There are cooling water passages 11 around this to cool the heat transferred from heated metal. There is a nozzle inserting part 3 via a nozzle rubber detaining part 4 in the other end and nozzle rubber 5 is fitted and mounted to this. The nozzle rubber consists of its root part 6, end part 7 and conical part 8. The end part 7 is of a truncated circular cone shape or semicircular shape and has a plurality of scores 9 at the end face. It opens and closes according to blowing and exhausting of compressed air into and from the sand box. Since the end is constituted in this way, the service life of the nozzle rubber is prolonged.
