Abstract
PURPOSE: To achieve uniform dusting by giving vibrational force to the entire surface without applying extreme bending and tension to a filter cloth tube.
CONSTITUTION: This bag filter consists of a clean gas chamber 2, a dust-containing gas duct 3, a dust hopper 4 attached to the duct 3, a pipe 5 connecting the chamber 2 and the hopper 3, an operation unit 10 attached to the pipe 5 and capable of giving vibration to the chamber 2 and hopper 4 alternately, and a pressure-changing device 6 consisting of a vibration plate 11 and associated with the operation unit 10. The pressure changing device 6 applies a forced-gas pressure change to the surface of cloth tube 1, so that a vibrating force needed for dusting is given to the filter cloth tube without applying excessive deformation and local bending to the filter cloth. Said equipment enables to provide a pressure frequency change of several to several tens hertz to the entire surface of the filter cloth tube 1 at right angle to the filter cloth surface. As a result, dust can be uniformly removed from the filter cloth.
