Abstract

PURPOSE:To realize a calculation for both the distance and velocity of several targets and thus prevent the collision and the misdetection of the access warning, by providing the circuit which catches the targets other than the target of the shortest distance. CONSTITUTION:Pulse G1 produced by generating circuit 14 is extended for its duraion by an amount equivalent to the transmission pulse duration, and then sent to transmission gate circuit 18 to gate the output of IF amplifier 12. The signal of target 1 of the output of amplifier 12 is sent to threshold circuit 21 while being masked. When this signal exceeds the threshold level at the time of target 2, gate pulse G2 is generated from generating circuit 24. Pulse G2 is sent to counter 15 to calculate the distance of corresponding target 2. This distance value is stored in memory 16. The same action is also given to the next transmission. Then the extent of variation is calculated 17 between the previous distance and the present distance of target 2 to obtain the velocity of target 2.
