Abstract

PURPOSE: To obtain tungsten material for increasing the nonsagging property of tungsten wire for bulbs at a high temperature by adding a specific quantity of ordinary dope such as Al2O3 and K2O independently or compositely to pure tungsten and, moreover, adding a specific quantity of Ti to the mixture.
CONSTITUTION: Tungsten material is obtained by adding 0.01W1wt% of ordinary dope such as Al2O3, K2O and SiO2 independently or compositely to pure tungsten and, moreover, adding 0.003W0.03wt% of metallic Ti powder to the mixture. The materials can increase the nonsagging property of tungsten wire for bulbs at a high temperature which is obtained by sintering, malleablizing and wire drawing on the basis of the fixed procedure after press molding and improving the process of said wire drawing to increase the yield of products.
