Abstract
PURPOSE: To make it possible to exactly set and pick up sheet copy and book copy, by interlocking the copy holding plate and the copy pinch plate during the final process period of opening and closing motion of the copy holding plate.
CONSTITUTION: When the copy holding plate 5 is turned for closing toward the transparent plate 2 for placing a copy, during the final process period of the aforesaid rotation, the pinch plate 16 is interlocked and rotated through the elastic pressure member 20 of the plate 5, and one end of the sheet copy P placed on the plate 2 is pinched by the plate 16. Subsequently, when the plate 5 is turned and closed, the copy P is pressed against the plate 2 by the elastic pressure member 5b of the plate 5. Accordingly, even if the plate 5 is turned for opening after copying has been completed, the copy P pinched by the plate 16 is not adsorbed to the plate 5 and is prevented from dropping on the floor. On the other hand, the book copy B is placed at the regular position of the table 2 since the upright plate 16 serves as a stopper. After the foregoing, when the plate 5 is turned for closing, the bearing member 8 of the plate 5 is moved upward and the plate 16 is not interlocked but the copy B is pressed against the plate 2 by the plate 5. Accordingly, various copies can be set and picked up exactly.
