Abstract
PURPOSE:To make automatic tracking possible by separating a distance and azimuth direction from each other by judging one received data two-target one when the run length of the received data is greater than reference run length. CONSTITUTION:Reference run length thetaRS output by reference run length memory part 1 and deviation run length thetaRe output by deviation run length memory part 3 stored with the dispersion of reference run length are input to adder 6 to find (thetaRS+thetaRe) and this value and target run length thetaRA detected by secondary radar signal processor I are input to comparator 2 to find which is greater. When thetaRA>thetaRS+ thetaRe, divider 4 divides thetaRA by four and the result and azimuth thetaA are input to adder- subtracter 5 to find the aximuths of two targets. When thetaRA<thetaRS+thetaRe, target aximuth thetaA is output as it is. Distance and azimuth data obtained in this way are supplied to automatic tracking unit I, so that automatic tracking will come into effect.
