CONSTITUTION: Nonmagnetic substance 22 is formed in a layer shaped nearly in parallel to plate-shape surface 22 of center core 12 held between C type cores 8 and 9, In C type cores 8 and 9, recording gap 13 reproducing gap 14 made of independent circuits are formed. In this case, the interval of recording gap 13 should be 3W80 times that of reproducing gap 14. Consequently, leakage of magnetic flux is prevented and recording efficiency improves.
