Abstract

PURPOSE: To use easily the pen by reading the moving distance detecting means and photoelectric convertion element groups and memory circuit and the clearness and darkness information accommodated in this memory circuit and constructing by a means for printing on the paper surface.

CONSTITUTION: The reading pen 2 is moved along the row or the line of the characters of the book or data printed at right angles to the photoelectric converter 4, then the roller 3 is contacted with the paper and rotated and in accordance with the rotation of the roller 3 is converted into the distance information by the distance converting element 5. A series of the signals changed into the electric signals by the photoelectric converter 4 are memorized successively by the memory circuit 9 controlled by the control circuit 8. Then, the writing button is turned ON, applied to the paper surface and the writing pen is moved in a direction of the printing line or row, then the distance detection element 15 detects the distance information and reads from the memory circuit 9 and the print circuit 19 prints the information of the elearness and darkness information memorized on the paper by using the injet type printing head 14.
