Abstract
PURPOSE:To surely prevent the operation of misshift to a reverse gear in a transmission when driving gear is released at a select position, by equipping a stopper to an accent shaft for priventing an operation of gear shift from being wrongly performed to a backward stage. CONSTITUTION:At gear shift operation when a shifter shaft 8 is placed, for instance, to the neutral position by a shift lever to connect it to a central fork shaft 5 and axially shift it, the third speed and the fourth speed can be obtained. While if the shifter shaft 8 is turned clockwise and select operated, immediately after the beginning of its operation an end part 10a of an arm 10 strikes a wall face 12b in a groove 12a of an accent shaft 12 simultaneously a contact part 10b hits a protrusion 18d of a stopper 18, and the both shaft 12 and stopper 18 are integrally moved downward.
