Abstract
PURPOSE:To enhance the natural vibration frequency of the vibration-proof transformer by supporting both ends of an upper clamp for clamping the upper portion of an iron core with a stay fixed on the base to increase the rigidity of an entire transformer. CONSTITUTION:A vibration-proof frame B is made of a foundation base 21 integral with two end stays 22 formed at both ends of the base 21. On the other hand, a transformer body A is wound on an iron core 1 with a coil 2 with upper and lower clamps 3 and 4 clamping the upper and the lower portions of the core 1 and with stiffening plates 23 provided at both ends of the clamp 3. This body A is fixed through the base 5 to the base 21 of the frame B, and the stiffening plates 23 are clamped to the stays 22 through clamping bolts 25 to integrally secure the body A to the frame B. In this manner, since the rigidity of the stays 22 and the base 21 forming the frame B can be sufficiently reinforced separately form the body A, its natural vibration frequency can be set to higher than 20Hz so as to isolate it substantially from an earthquake in resonance.
