Abstract
PURPOSE:To prevent heat generation of the electromagnet by forming longitudinal slits on a member forming the electromagnet for an armature, yoke or the like, containing the members in a bottlelike casing, and air cooling the members with air flowing in the slits. CONSTITUTION:A plurality of slits 22 are radially formed from the outer peripheral surface of an armature 4 forming a high speed electromagnet to a boss 21 passing through a valve rod. A cylindrical peripheral wall 23 rapidly capable of engaging with the inner peripheral surface of the casing of upper yoke 5 is provided, a hole 25 slidably engaged with the armature 4 is formed at an upper plate 24, and longitudinal slits 27 are radially formed and intruded on the peripheral wall 23 from the inner peripheral surface of the hole 25. Further, a base seat 29 engaged with the peripheral wall 23 is formed on a yoke 6 becoming lower side, a hole 28 passing with a valve rod is formed at the center, longitudinal slits 30 are radially formed from the outer peripheral surface, these members are contained in a casing having cooling air supply port and exhaust port, and are cooled effectively by the air flowing through the respective slits 22, 27 and 30.
