Abstract
The air cooler has a contacting chamber with an upper wall, an air aperture, a distribution network for a fluid to be cooled, and a heat exchanger below the distributor. There are elements to collect the cooled fluid below the heat exchanger. Fans are positioned in apertures in the upper chamber wall, to suck air from the chamber, and eject it into the atmosphere, after it has passed through the heat exchanger. The chamber (1) has a central core (N) and a circumferential body (C) with external polygonal shape. The fans (4) are arranged on the body, so that at least half of them form two neighbouring sides of the polygon, next to the body.
