Abstract
PURPOSE:To prevent drops in exhaust temperature and reduce build-up of carbon deposits on the inner circumferential wall of an exhaust port by forming a heat resistant layer of resin on the wall. CONSTITUTION:A heat resistant layer 6 of Teflon or other resin is formed on the inner cirfumferential wall of an exhaust ports 5. By this, the temperature drop of exhaust into the exhaust port 5 from a combustion chamber 2 is reduced, thereby resulting in a reduced build-up of carbon deposits.
