Abstract
PURPOSE: To treat bundles of paper sheets smoothly without untying the bundled state of paper sheets, by interconnecting a guide arm and lift noses with a torsion spring so that excessive swinging motion of the guide arm is absorbed by the torsion spring.
CONSTITUTION: Bundle P of paper sheets, put into transport passage 11 of the stamping and delivering apparatus with its bundling band Pa being located forward, is carried to the end portion of the transport passage, with an inclination angle of 45°, by means of the first and the second feed rollers 16, 19 and endless belt 17. Then, lift means 12 is set into operation for swinging guide arm 35 and turning lift noses 28 upward by the intermediary of torsion spring 40 so as to raise paper sheets P upward. At the same time, lift bars 29 are turned upward by releasing the biasing force of tension spring 44 to lift bars 29 so as to lift the paper sheets P into horizontal state by means of the lift bars 29. Thereafter, bundle P of paper sheets is slided onto table plate 43 by turning noses 28 while stopping motion of bars 29, and then machine-number stamp 56 and operator stamp 57 are moved downward for affixing a stamp of the bundling band Pa by stamping means 53.
