CONSTITUTION: A plurality of rollers 2 are placed on a loading table 1, on which a lumber A is transferred, mounting vertically a cutter guide rail on the end of the loading table 1, with which a transferring frame that is provided with a cutter 27 for shaping a groove on the end of the lumber A being mounted. A set of crosswise guide rail 3 is provided for the end of the loading table 1 close to the cutter, on the rail 3 a set rail 6 which is mounted vertically with a set scale 7 and a keep plate 17 which is vertically mounted with a keep plate 18 being slidably and independently mounted respectively. Said set rail 6 operates crosswise by turning gears 24, 22 with a handle 25, the position of the keep rail 17 being adjusted by operating a handle 20.
