Abstract
PURPOSE: To enhance the discharge efficiency of a low-viscosity, separated solid component using a simple struture by a method wherein plural number of back-flow prevention plates which are radially protruded are installed between each of several pitches of an inner shell screw located at the taper section of outer shell of the titled separator.
CONSTITUTION: The titled separator has a structure in which an outer inner shell screw 11 is installed inside an outer shell 10, and separated solid is moved through the space between the inner surface 12 of the taper section of the outer shell 10 and the outer surface of the inner shell screw 11, then the solid is discharged from an outlet 14. In this separator, plural back-flow prevention plates 31 are installed along the distance of several pitches of the inner shell screw 22 located at the taper section 12 of the outer shell. The solid is moved through the passage formed between the inner face 12 of the taper section of the outer shell 10 and the inner shell screw 22. At this time, the solid, if low viscous, is prevented from back-flowing which occurs to the conventional machines. In this manner, said simple structure can enhance the moving efficiency of solid material.
