Abstract

PURPOSE:To reset surely a latching relay, which is in the latch state, with the external operation, by using a photocoupler for an instantaneous reset circuit to insulate electrically the primary-side circuit and the secondary-side sircuit form each other. CONSTITUTION:Instantaneous reset circuit 31 is constituted by the primary-side circuit where terminals a' and c' are connected by photodiode 32 and resistance 33 and the secondary-side circuit consisting of phototransistor 34 and resistance 28 which form a photocoupler together with photodiode 32. This reset circuit 31 causes photodiode 32 to emit light and turns on phototransistor 34 by turning on switch S2. Then, the voltage of capacitor 15 is output to the output side of oscillation counting circuit 21 as a reset signal through resistance 28 and phototransistor 34.
