Abstract

PURPOSE:To prevent the dew condensation and freezing at a pipe end by a method wherein an end of the cryogenic container at a flow passage for performing supply or recovery of a coolant is covered with some heat insulative pipe under a vaccum condition, and a heater is arranged at a circumference of the pipe. CONSTITUTION:The end of a flow passage 22 facing the cryogenic container for use in supply or recovery of the coolant 11 from out of the cryogenic container 1 is covered with the heat insulating pipe 23 kept under a vaccum condition and another end facing to the surrounding atmosphere is covered with the heater means 24 to form the end 21 of the piping. Under this arrangement, when a lead wire 25 in the heater 24 is applied with voltage to enable the heating of the flow passage 22, so that no dew condensation or freezing of the water vapour in the surrounding atmosphere may be found in the flow passage 22.
