Abstract
PURPOSE:To facilitate control over transmission and reception by using specific patterns for the start pattern of a data frame and then by displaying the kind of the data frame by combining them together. CONSTITUTION:Transmission control function part 6 consists of control part 1, transmitting-receiving buffer 2, character arithmetic part 3, composed of specific pattern generation-detection part 30, ''0'' insertion-removal part 31 and frame check sequence FCS arithmetic check part 32, interface line 4, and data circuit 5. Then, circuit 30 generates and detects pattern F, pattern (f), a resignation pattern, and on- hook pattern. For transparent transmission, circuit 31 inserts ''0'' after every 5th ''1'' when sending data containing not less than five continuous ''1''s and then remove inserted ''0'' in reception. Further, circuit 32 adds FCS to a transmitted data frame and checks FCS of a received data frame to inspect an error.
