Abstract
PURPOSE: To perform repairing work rapidly within the banking period of a furnace by forming a bracket beam and necessary members that can be loaded into the furnace into one body and so constituting these that these can be loaded into the furnace from the same direction.
CONSTITUTION: A bracket beam 5 having an arm stanchion 6, a nozzle holding arm 7 and a balance weight 23 is stopped when it arrives at the position where the arm stanchion 6 is slewable within the furnace by the driving of a moving device 26. The holding part 24 of the arm stanchion 6 is disengaged and the arm stanchion 6 is slewed around a pivot shaft 11 by the driving of an elevator 9 until it is positioned perpendicular. Next, the nozzle holding arm 7 is slewed and is fixed in the predetermined position. The moving device 26 is driven to move the arm stanchion 6 up to the center of the furnace, where it slews the balance weight 23, thereby lowering an outside cylinder 6b. When a blowing nozzle 8 reaches the predetermined position, a monolithic refractory material feeder 15 and a pressure-feed hose are connected to blow monolithic refractory material from the blowing nozzle 8, whereby the repairing work of the damaged portion 25 of the furnace wall is accomplished.
