Abstract
PURPOSE:To obtain the Tomographic information of high resolution by dividing a plurality of ultrasonic vibrators into plural units so that ultransonic wave is trasmitted or received at common focusing points of a diagnosing subject and the reflected ultrasonic signals are added and combined. CONSTITUTION:Respective delay values of the first and second delay circuits 2a- 2d and 7a-7d are varied each time the rate pulse signal is generated so that the ultrasonic waves are transmitted or received with respect to the focusing points whereby each reflected ultrasonic signal thus obtained is memorized in the first memory circuit 11. The reflected ultrasonic signals read out from the memory circuit 11 is added and combined in an addition circuit 12 at each focusing point and memorized into a memory circuit 14 after detected. Thus, the Tomographic image information can be obtained in subsequence acording to the rate scanning.
