Abstract

PURPOSE: To make a conventional sprocket at driven shaft side unrequired to reduce the cost by mounting a sprocket on a driving shaft and a rotary disc on the driven shaft, and fixing both ends of the chain meshed with the above sprocket.
CONSTITUTION: The small sprocket 2 is fixed to a driving shaft 1 by key or the like, on one hand, and the rotary disc 4 is cut out partly, and chain fitting plates 5 are fitted to two positions at the outer peripheral part of the axial end surface in contact with the cutout part by means of bolts and or the like, both ends of a chain 7 being secured to the above described fitting plates 5. The chain 7 is hung around the small sprocket 2, and a chain guide 8 is tied to the circumferential part of the rotary disc 4 to prevent the chain 7 from coming off from the disc 4. The above described constitution parts are accommodated in a case 9, and a stopper 10 is fit mounted of both shafts 1 and 3 of the case 9 thereby to constrain the rotation of the shaft 3 within an angular range of 45 in the left and right directions.
