Abstract
PURPOSE:To heighten the assembly accuracy dispensing with the working of brake yoke by integral molding of the yoke on the end bracket while the brake yoke and the brake disc are connected mechanically. CONSTITUTION:The end bracket 4 provided at one end of the drive motor is molded with the brake yoke 8 inserted thereinto. The brake yoke is in no way subjected to further working. For the molding, the aluminum die casting, the aluminum casting, the resin molding or the like is used. Then, the brake coil 7 is fixed in the brake yoke 8. The brake disc 9 on the flat plate having the highly accurately finished surface facing the brake lining 15 of the brake ring 16 is fitted into the brake yoke 8 and fixed on the end bracket with the screw 22. This eliminates any magnetic gap between the brake yoke 8 and the brake disc 9 thereby improving the brake efficiency.
