Immobilizing And Processing Of Enzymes And Microorganisms
(AREA)
Abstract
PURPOSE: To enable the release of a physiologically active substance gradually for a long time, by immobilizing an enzyme or mold on a thermally denaturated protein matrix.
CONSTITUTION: 0.1W400pts.wt. One ore more enzymes or molds are brought into contact with 10pts.wt. buffer solution comprising 0.1W1,000pts.wt. one or more protein to be denaturated thermally, e.g., human serum albumin, human γ-globulin, etc. and heat-treated at 40W90°C so that the enzyme or mold is immobilized. The heat treatment may be carried out together with light or ionizing radiation irradiation.
