Abstract

PURPOSE: To facilitate manufacture irrespectively of right- and left-handed spiral guide passages by continuously forming the part except the both ends of the cylinder cam which converts rotary motion to reciprocating motion with those segments, each of which has the equal shape and forms a part of the right- and left-handed spiral guide passages.
CONSTITUTION: A cylinder cam 1 is formed by combining first segment 9 consisting of a pair of right and left elements, second segments 10 consisting of a pair of right and left elements, and a number of third segments 11. These segment 9W11 are positioned by engaging with the positioning surface 13W16 respectively provided on the end surface of the periphery of a shaft, and connected together. In positioning and connecting, the annular groove area 7, 8 formed on each segment 9W11 is connected, forming cam grooves 4 and 5. Thus, injection molding of each segment is enabled through such a process to form the cylinder cam 1 with these divided three segments and fabrication can be facilitated.
