Abstract

PURPOSE: The titled enzymic solution, obtained by immersing a fruit of "sudachi" (a kind of citrus fruit) directly in an alcoholic solution or cutting the fruit suitably and immersing the cut fruit in the solution, enclosing the immersed solution, and allowing the solution to stand for a given time in a room, capable of enhancing the beautifying effect and effective for melasma, roughness of the hand, etc. due to the use of a cosmetic for a long term.

CONSTITUTION: A fruit of oranges (citrus fruits), e.g. "sudachi", is washed with running water carefully and directly or cut to a size of 1/2W1/4 and immersed in an alcoholic solution for a given time to give a skin beautifying enzymic solution. The solution enhances the facial beautifying effect, exhibits a rapid effect on discoloration by grease (facial melasma), liver-spots, skin roughness, black pimple or allergy, softens the keratin, e.g. pimple, athlete's foot, sunburn, knee or elbow, due to the commercial cosmetics used for a long term, and is effective against the occupational roughness of a hand caused by the kitchen work or a cleaner. The immersion in the alcoholic solution (10W35°) is carried out by allowing a container of the solution to stand for a month in the summer season or two months in the winter season in a room, and the fruit is taken out when the solution in the container turns light yellow.
