Abstract
PURPOSE: To facilitate a switching-over between an air warming exclusive machine and an air warming/cooling machine by specifying the construction of a standard model.
CONSTITUTION: Inside an air suction port 3 of a cabinet body 1 of the air warming/ cooling machine is defined a space 5 having appropriate depth and width. At the bottom of the space 5 is provided a fan 4 and in the midway of a blowing-off passage of the fan is provided a heater 6. The machine having the above construction is a standard one. When this standard machine is used as an air warmer, the fan 4 has only to be driven to suction a room air 13 to a combustor 6, where it is heated and then blown off from an air blowing-off port 2 into the room. On the other hand when the air cooling function is imparted in addition to the air warming function to the standard machine, it is sufficient if a standard heat exchanger 8 separately prepared is inserted into the space 5 through an entirely opened air suction port 3 and fixed there at the spot where it is used.
