Abstract
PURPOSE: To fully control the burning condition in a burning part by a method wherein a vacant chamber is difined at the intermeidate part of the furnace body in the combustion furnace in which chaff, saw dust and the like are used as source of heat.
CONSTITUTION: The vacant chamber W is difined by providing an inclined plate 3 and a louver 4 piling up with narrow inclined plates 40 in the furnace body formed into a vertical long quadratic prism chest. The vacant chamber W, in which the chaff, saw dust and the like S does not enter, is formed below the inclined plate 3 when the chaff, saw dust and the like S are charged from a hopper 2 to be piled up in the furnace body 1. When a kindling charcoal is inserted through a lighting tube 13 into the vacant chamber W, the surface of repose Y of the chaff, saw dust and the like S layed bare to the vacant chamber W catches fire and bigins to burn and then the chaff, saw dust and the like S near the inclined plate 3 is heated and dry-distilled to produce the volatile gas to be sucked in the vacant chamber W, continuing the burning of the chaff, saw dust and the like S. As a result, the excessive temperature rise within the vacant chamber and near the inclined plate 3 is prevented and the stable burning is possible.
